Project 1000: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs
Project 1000, an initiative by the Shanti Seva Nidhi Trust, empowers rural women by transforming factory textile waste into home decor products. Using traditional hand weaving and macramé skills, they train rural artisans in Maharashtra to create baskets, mats, and décor pieces from up-cycled yarn, keeping plastic out of landfills.
Beyond craft, the program provides training in design, quality control, and business skills, giving women both income and confidence. Through our collaboration, 400+ kg of textile waste has been diverted from landfills and reimagined into thoughtful, eco-luxury gifting. With every product, Project 1000 preserves craft, restores dignity, and promotes circular living.
Phool: Turning Temple Flowers into Change
Every day, tons of temple flowers end up in India’s rivers, polluting sacred waters. Phool solves this by up-cycling floral waste into incense sticks, cones, and biodegradable packaging, creating a circular solution that honours both tradition and the environment.
Equally powerful is the human impact. Phool employs women from marginalised communities, especially Dalit women, offering them fair wages, healthcare, and dignified livelihoods. Jai Vakeel Foundation: Empowering Through Inclusion
The Jai Vakeel Foundation is one of India’s oldest and largest non-profits empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. From vocational training to life skills, they help children and adults live with dignity and independence.
Our partnership highlights their handcrafted products from candles to décor, made by adults with intellectual disabilities. Each piece carries the resilience and creativity of its maker, turning corporate and festive gifts into symbols of inclusion and empowerment.
